Paintings can be purchased via QR Code and taken off the wall upon presentation of proof of purchase. “Places We remember explores the quiet magic of Melbourne’s built landscape — weathered pubs, shopfronts, ageing façades and forgotten corners that still breathe with life. These paintings celebrate the stories etched into the places we move past without noticing, as well as those we return to again and again. Together, they capture a city shaped by memory, routine and change, revealing the character found in both the familiar and the overlooked. Two paintings of buildings in the United States extend this idea beyond Melbourne, reflecting the same lived-in beauty in cities like Chicago and New Orleans.This collection invites viewers to pause, look closer, and rediscover the spaces that hold history, mood and the quiet traces of the people who’ve passed through them.”
