My eleven year old son Shane was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma in April 2009. During his illness hehas lost many things, his hair, his childhood, his innocence, time at school,friendships; he has also found many things, new friends, new ways of passingthe time, more patience, more time with his family and a new appreciation ofthe things that are special to him. My photo essay shows how he has come full circle,from the carefree childhood before his diagnosis, through the physical andemotional changes during his treatment, to the journey back to a normal, happy life.
