BALANCE CHANGE REFLECTION depicts my son regaining the balance in his life after his diagnosis of Lymphoma in 2009. Shane was ten at the time of his diagnosis; now aged 15, after successfully completing treatment he has returned to full health and achieved balance in many areas of his life. The photograph on the left was taken in March 2009 just before his diagnosis and the photograph on the right is a recent one; despite all the changes Shane went through he is still the same and to me these images reflect that.
